Underground, buses, or taxis go from one sight to the other in Barcelona city centre. They offer various packages with discounts. Car rental is available but driving in the city can be hair-raising. The train station is connected to the passenger?s terminal which is located in front of the terminal building, between the terminals A and B. Underground is the fastest way to get around the city and also the cheapest.

*BARCELONA AIRPORT:

Barcelona airport is a modern Airport located in El Prat de Llobregat, only 12 km (8 miles) south west from the city centre, at about 20-30 minutes. The airport has 3 terminals: A, B and C. Passengers can use a walkway which connects the three terminals.

Terminal A: Foreign airline departures and international arrivals.
Terminal B: Spanish airline departures and European Union arrivals.
Terminal C: Air shuttle and general aviation.

-FROM BARCELONA AIRPORT / Bus:

It runs regularly from the airport to Barcelona city centre (Plaza CataluÃ±a). From there, you can go on by underground or taxi. The price for a single is 3.60 Euros. The express bus takes about 30 minutes and it departs every ten minutes. See timetables (note that it might vary depending on the season):

From Airport to Plaza CataluÃ±a (5:30 h to 22:15 h)
From Plaza CataluÃ±a to the Airport (6:00 h to 23:00 h)

-FROM BARCELONA AIRPORT / Taxi:

Specially recommended! It is the best way to get to the apartment, the cheapest and the most comfortable one. There are a lot of taxis in terminals A, B and C, you can recognize them because of the typical black-yellow colours.

A taxi for 4 people will cost you about 18 - 25 ? and it will take about 30 minutes to the apartment. Please give the exact address to the taxi driver.

-FROM BARCELONA AIRPORT / Train:

The train station is connected to the passenger?s terminal which is located in front of the terminal building between the terminals A and B.

The railway Spanish company (Linea C-1) departs from the airport to the city centre and stops at Clot-aragÃ³, Arc de Triomf, Plaza CataluÃ±a and Sants station. The price of a single ticket is about 2.50 Euros. All connected to the underground (see your closest underground station)

-From Airport to Plaza CataluÃ±a:

The trains are departing from 6:13 h to 23:40 h every 30 minutes. It takes about 25 minutes to Plaza CataluÃ±a which is located on the upper end of the famous Ramblas.

-ARE YOU COMING TO BARCELONA BY CAR?

By highway or motorway, it depends on your route. Please, see on your map. The prices of public parking can move between 17? - 20? per day.

If you want you can rent a car from the airport we recommend you do not only see Barcelona City.

UNDERGROUND BARCELONA:

We suggest you to buy a T-10 travel card, valid for several persons and transport systems, such as underground, bus and Catalan trains.

Friday, Sat and before bank holidays:
5:00 a 02:00 h.

Frequency every 2 or 3 minutes.

Main Lines: L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5.

*FROM GIRONA AIRPORT / Bus:

Gerona is about 150 km away from Barcelona centre. The best way to travel from Gerona airport to Barcelona city centre is to take a bus. There is a bus company that drops you off in Barcelona in about 1.5h. The price for a single is 11 ? and 19 ? for a return (valid for 30 days)

It has got 6 bedrooms: -Private Triple Room with a double bed and single bed (with an extra single bed available upon request) -Two more triple rooms each with 3 single beds. -Another triple room with bunk beds and a single bed. -Twin room with 2 single beds. -Double room with double sofa bed. The apartment has a balcony which can be accessed by three of the bedrooms and two bathrooms; the first one is a full bathroom and the other has a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a separate room only with toilet and an open-plan living/dining room area with a big table, comfortable sofa and chairs. Kitchen: It is fully equipped and has all the kitchenware that you might need. Ramblas is a cosmopolitan area with plenty of bars, night clubs and with people from all over the world, just the right place for people who want to experience the city through day and night. Architecture: The gothic quarter is certainly the heart of Barcelona?s old town. The streets are mediaeval lanes with numerous shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Here you can go for endless walks and discover new places. Very worth seeing are ?Ramblas?, the gothic Cathedral, parts of the old town wall, ?Theatre Liceu?, ?Boqueria Market?, ?Plaza CataluÃ±a? and much more!
