Who can view my profile?
Members can set what types of buddies are allowed to see your profile. For instance, you have three options:
- My Friends – These are the buddies you have added as friends to your Hostel Buddies profile. This allows your buddies to see your full profile.
- Friends of Friends – These are the friends of people connected to you as friends of friends (but not directly connected to you). This allows your friends and your friend’s friends to see your full profile.
- Anyone – This setting allows Hostel Buddies members and visitors to view your full profile.
How do I change my profile picture?
Go to “My Profile” and click on “update profile picture.”
How do I edit my profile?
Go to “My Profile” and click on “account preferences.”
Who do I change my password?

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve my password?
To retrieve your password, click here. A new password will be sent to your email address.
How do I add entries to my calendar?
To add an entry, click on the “+” button on any time or day on the calendar. Type a subject and description then click on the “save” button to save your entry.
